The Card Game of Golf
Play Nine is the golf themed card game that is perfect for a casual game night. Just like your golf swing, there's plenty of chance in this golf game with a mix of strategic elements that'll have your group entertained for hours. With easy-to-learn instructions, you'll have the whole group playing in no time.
Players are dealt 8 cards with a discard and draw pile at the center. Players then take turns drawing, discarding, or trading their cards for the lowest value cards. Just like the actual game, the person with the lowest score wins!
There’s plenty of strategy mixed with a little luck-of-the-draw as you pit your wits against everyone else to post the lowest score. And, of course, when it seems as though everything is rolling your way, up pops that unexpected “challenge” to test even the savviest golfer.

With the goal being matching all cards in a column in order to “zero out”, this game is fairly simple to figure out. Love the -5 cards and the rule that allowed you to get -10 if you had the same card in two columns.
The option to “pass” if you have one card remaining to flip sort of slows down the game a bit. Would love if the players were forced to take a card or choose to go out. All in all a fun game that was absolutely loved by anyone we introduced it to. I know a few who went straight to The Gamers Table to get their own copy after having played with us.
